NUS Engineering Distinguished Leaders Lecture: Ms Jessica Tan, Ping An Group Co-CEO & Board Executive Director 19 Feb 2021@ NUS Engineering LT7A Founded in 1988 as an insurance company in Shenzhen, Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. has, by 2020, grown into the world’s 5th largest financial conglomerate. Singaporean Jessica Tan, one of the 3 Co-CEOs at Ping An Group, has made headlines not only in Singapore but around the world. In 2020, she was listed by Fortune as the second most powerful woman outside the US. Hosted by the NUS Faculty of Engineering, in this Distinguished Leaders Lecture, participants were given first-hand insight on how Ping An has been leveraging its trailblazing technology innovation to transform a financial services group into a technology-driven ecosystem powerhouse, and have the opportunity to interact with Ms. Tan, who is the key leader driving Ping An’s success.
