Healthy reef ballet from a North and South Andaman Liveaboard - Jan 2023 by Philippe Vidal

Thailand still counts some of the best dive sites in the world and this 7 days North Andaman dive trip offers just the best Thailand has to offer and while we didn't get lucky with a whale shark or Manta this week, the reef was alive and this video perfectly shows this underwater ballet. Recorded in the Surin islands, Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock with a very diverse marine life! Richelieu offered us some amazing dives on the very first day. We saw a ghost pipe fish releasing its eggs and a pair of harlequin shrimps eating a sea star. The reef was alive with big fish hunting in schools of glass fish. Entering the Similan National and spending the second day in Koh Tachai and Koh Bon we spotted Turtle, lobsters, barracudas, trevallies, fusilliers and some spanish dancer eggs. Cruising south in the archipelago and diving Three trees, Elephant head rock and West of Eden. We love those dive sites for the macro, nudis, crustaceans. The following 3 days we dive around Lanta and Tarutao National Park where the color of the soft coral is in hard competition with the wonderful macro life in every crack! Our guests enjoyed very much the blackwater dive where we met a wide range of cute little monsters. Last day in Phi Phi island and shark point with black tip reef shark, lots of beauty nudis and flat worms.
