Walking In The Temples Of Yiyang City | Hunan, China | 湖南益阳古迹

Hey, guys, welcome to walk along with me in the heritage sites of Yiyang City. First site is the Bailu Temple, or White Deer Temple, and it's really a colorful temple. The Bailu Temple is located in Bailu hill on the south Zi River in Yiyang City, Hunan Province. With over 1,200 years history, the temple was originally built in the Yuanhe year of Emperor Xianzong(806-820AD) in Tang Dynasty(618-907AD). It was destroyed by the war in the late Qing Dynasty. The new temple was rebuilt in 1991. Covering a total area of 21,000 square kilometres, the Bailu Temple has 4 sections of the Buddhist buildings, and there are 300 monks in the temple. As the biggest temple in Yiyang City, the Bailu Temple is regarded as one of the key sites of religion and culture in Hunan Province. Then I visited Fuyuan Temple and the old walls of ancient Yiyang City, and worshiped the Guan Yu Statue. You would see some statues of celebrities in Yiyang history in this tour. Hope you enjoy the tour. ----------------------------------------------------------- ★★ Guys, I'm looking forward to know how you feel about the video. ★★ ----------------------------------------------------------- ★★ City Walking Tours ★★ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73R0Ap6ZeZA&list=PLZFifwX1CbmTDWoRS03WAor3wGBX97nxK If you enjoy my videos, please ★SUBSCRIBE★ my next walk, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCip2HiAmspOVMeh0yxMcEaA?view_as=subscriber Love and peace. ----------------------------------------------------------- #Yiyang #heritage
