W.E.T.E.R | V.O.D.A – Сoncept of a wind and hydro power complex in Vietnam

Design and architectural solution of W.E.T.E.R and V.O.D.A power generation projects for Vietnam The W.E.T.E.R and V.O.D.A project team, during research and design work in December 2023, developed a design solution for combining two innovative power plants in one building that generate electricity using different energy sources and technological processes: a wind energy complex (W.E.T.E.R project) and a hydropower plant (V.O.D.A project). As a result of the research, calculations, and modeling of the structures of two different power generating devices, an optimal solution was found for combining them in one high-rise structure. This combination seems to be very effective and promising for use in urban infrastructure and enterprises. Information coverage of such a technical solution aroused the interest of representatives of the project team in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, from whom a proposal was received to prepare a design and architectural solution for such a structure for the proposed construction in the province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, located in the south of Vietnam. The proposal was justified by the need to carry out activities to promote the wind and hydropower complex to the country's market and the possibility of building a real power generating building in Vietnam. According to the representatives of the project team, the province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau is promising for the creation of such energy facilities. The center of the province is the large city of Vũng Tàu. There are power plants in the province that provide 40% of the country's total electricity. In January 2024, the project team developed a design and architectural solution for the combination of two power plants in one high-rise structure with graphic drawings and presentation video material on the combined power structure, which in February 2024 was sent to representatives of the project team in Vietnam and will be used as needed in their activities. In the video, the placement of an energy structure with a height of 156 meters is modeled quite realistically and its design and architectural design is indicated. The dynamic graphic material shows a scheme for the combined construction of various power generating devices in modular design, both vane systems with generators and independent hydropower plants integrated into five high-altitude aerodynamic structures. Two independent technological processes of power generation are demonstrated here. The main and supporting basis for the complex construction of two different electric generating devices in the proposed facility is a wind energy complex consisting of a building formed by five radially arranged structures that simultaneously perform the function of concentrators of the environmental flow (wind) flowing to the blade systems of a wind power plant and the mounting base of vertical cylinders of independent hydropower plants. It receives, concentrates and directs the flow of air (wind), converts its kinetic energy into electrical energy. Each hydropower plant is integrated into one structure forming a building, and the process of generating electric energy is based on the laws of nature. Due to the kinetic energy of the moving liquid, electricity is generated in a vertical cylinder partially filled with water with a constant volume. A piston (T-shaped shuttle) moves vertically in the cylinder. The piston, turbine (power drive of the generator) and generator form a movable module. The piston (T-shaped shuttle) is equipped with means of giving it positive or negative buoyancy in the form of a cavity alternately filled with air or water, and channels (holes). The cyclic movement of the piston down and up, created by the force of gravity and the buoyant force (the Archimedes force), provides electricity generation by a generator connected to a turbine on the piston. The proposed complex has a number of technical prospects in use: it increases the efficiency, duration and power of electric generation, reduces the dependence of the functioning of the structure on weather conditions. A systematic design and technological approach may be in demand in the infrastructure of cities and settlements in Vietnam, capable of determining the creation of new energy-efficient facilities with elegant, diverse architectural forms. 🔹 Official Website: https://tiaglin.com 📷 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/denis_tiaglin 📷 Twitter: https://twitter.com/denistiaglin 📷 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/tiaglinwetergorod 📷 VK: https://vk.com/denistiaglin_weter 💬 W.E.T.E.R Support: https://t.me/WETER_SUPPORT 💬 Telegram Channel: https://t.me/WETERNEWSGOROD #TIAGLIN #WETER #VODA #startup #windfarm #renewableenergy #renewables #sustainability #greeneconomy #windturbine #energy #electricity #hydropower #powerplant #windenergy #cleanenergy #ideas #inventions #technology #Vietnam
