POE 3.16 - Full Clearing Scourge Quadruples Your Loot - Unjuiced Map Test Results - Path of Exile

#PathOfExile #POE #DropRates Excluding Scourged maps, I noticed that almost every big drop I've had this league came from Scourge monsters in standard maps. All my exalts save one that was a Ritual reward; all my higher-end divination cards, and both the reasonably good uniques I've had. I decided to test it and the results were even stronger than I expected. Scourge is a huge loot multiplier, roughly quadrupling your loot per map if you can reliably push to 220-ish stacks of the debuff. I'd been working on a simple test this weekend - run a map with a very common divination card, pick all of the cards up & count how many were from each type of content. Hard numbers: 47 Loyalty drops from baseline monsters 154 from Krangleverse monsters 3 from unknown sources (these are treated as though they did not drop) Scourge thus multiplies loot by 4.25 (3.35-5.55 is the 95% confidence interval) This doesn't even consider the number of uniques dropping. Most of these are utter trash, but not all. In the background: the 27th map I ran in this test done at a very relaxed pace, sped up by 39% to sync with the commentary. Best maps to run this league chasing divination cards much more valuable than Loyalty (list may be incomplete): - Tropical Island - Tower (also drops The Wretched as well as The Nurse) - Armory - Alleyways I did a bunch of this testing on stream over on Twitch.
