Caregivers in the Wild: The Nature of Reflection (6/13)

Juliana gave up her career to become a full-time caregiver after her daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Rhett Syndrome 18 years ago. Today she is navigating a new challenge: transitioning her daughter’s care to the complex adult system and deciding what her caregiving role will look like in the future. In between waves and waterfalls on the Kootenay River, Juliana has moments of reflection with Dr. Mike Lang and behavior change expert, Dr. Lisa Bélanger, as together they begin to explore what could be around the next bend in the river. --------------------------------------- Hosted by Dr. Mike Lang https://www.mikelangstories.com Produced by Roadwest Pictures https://www.roadwestpictures.com Produced with the participation of TELUS Fund https://telusfund.ca Stories for Caregivers https://www.storiesforcaregivers.com Special thanks to Dr. Lisa Bélanger https://www.drlisabelanger.com
