BHP’s Raine Island Recovery Project with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation (part 1)

BHP has been a supporter of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation for more than a decade. During our partnership, we’ve contributed planning and engineering expertise, and invested over $15 million into the recovery of Raine Island, a key nesting ground for endangered Green Turtles. The Raine Island Recovery Project has been incredibly successful, with hatching survival rates climbing to 20% up from almost zero.
