Best Practices for Apprenticeship Programs

Apprenticeship programs have been around for a long time, but new innovative models are giving learners hands-on experience both in the classroom and on the job. Western Technical College is a perfect example. They've designed their Apprenticeship and Industry Training Center labs to replicate real-world job sites for electrical, plumbing, maintenance, welding and more. They're also utilizing the same space to provide job training for additional groups including the incumbent workforce, veterans and corrections.
