A Little Exponential Growth Problem - Cultivating Bacteria!
In this video I demonstrate how to calculate the growth factor, number of bacteria, rate of growth, and time to reach a population due to exponential growth.
First we find the exponential growth factor k given that we started with 1000 bacteria and end up with 2000 after 20 minutes.
Then with this result we work out how many bacteria there are after 3 hours.
Then we find the growth rate of bacteria after 3 hours.
