Is Psoriasis Candida

Thank you for checking out my video today. Question I got asked by a person recently is, is psoriasis Candida? Are they the same? Are they linked? Is there any connection between them both? Well, there is. In fact, in 2001, a study was performed by Waldman regarding many, many different psoriasis patients to see what the bowel flora was like, what type of problems these patients had, and what Waldman found is that the many people, in fact, over three quarters of people with psoriasis have Candida albicans. There’s a big link between yeast infection and psoriasis and also psoriatic arthritis. I’ve written about this extensively in my book. It’s the fourth book in a series I’ve written called the “The Psoriasis Program.” Thirteen books I’ve written for psoriasis patients, and one of them, in fact, explains about the connection, a 240-page book, it talks a lot about Candida, how it can be connected on the psoriasis. With all psoriasis patients, I tend to treat them for a yeast infection. I get a fantastic result when I do this. Many psoriasis patients have sugar cravings and manifest the signs and symptoms of a Candida yeast infection, so I believe there is a very strong connection between psoriasis and Candida. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that psoriasis is Candida, but the connection is extremely strong. And if three quarters of people in a long-term study involving over 200 psoriasis patients is showing quite a large incidence of Candida, then it’s something that you need to take seriously if you’ve got psoriasis. In fact, in most autoimmune diseases, you’ll find some undercurrent of yeast infection, so that’s worth bearing in mind. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for tuning in.
