Introducing ICAR Farrier Tools. Regular Handle, Drop Blade Hoof Knife. I looked all over for a hoof knife that spoke to me. I don't know hoof knives, but I know knives and nothing in the $30-50.00 range was too impressive. Then I found this one. $40.00 ($50.00 shipped), and totally impressive. Sharpest hoof knife I have touched yet. I've touched Anvil, Bloom Forge, Hall, Hastings, Double S, Victorinox, and a few more I can't remember now. Great quality steel, comfortable wood handle with balanced weight and feel, super sharp blade that's evenly sharp throughout the entire length. Blade is perfect thickness - not too thick to make it hard to slice, nor is it too thin to hold an edge. Definitely the best knife in this price range I could find. Other knives I was interested in, but are pricier: JH Forge and Tosaky.
