2022 Columban Art Calendar: "It's as Aussie as vegemite" - Archbishop Peter Comensoli

1923 saw the first publication of The Columban Art Calendar. It was introduced the same year as VEGEMITE to the Australian public. Since then, religious paintings, which have been appreciated throughout history, have been included in the calendar. The Columban Art Calendar is based on the Universal Norms of the Liturgical Year and the Calendar as set out in the Roman Missal MMX. It is presented with the adjustments and additions decreed by the Episcopal Conferences Australia and New Zealand.
