Homemade Turkish Baklava

Recipe and Instructions: For the Syrup you will need 2 and a half cups of water and 2 cups of sugar. Heat it up in a pot until the sugar completely disolves. For the Baklava you need 250 grams of butter, ground-up pistachios and 16 sheets of puff pastry. Oil up the baking tray and lay out a layer of puff pastry. Aufter the eighth layer begin to add the pistachios. Then you add the reamaining 8 layers of pastry. After you are done ad a few sprinkles of pistachios on top and add a bit of shape. Put a bit of molten butter on each of those shapes. Then bake for 30 minutes in 200°C. After you put out your tray add your Syrup on top and let it soak.
