It consists of Ear tips, Ear tubes, tubing and a chestpiece. Chestpiece has a plactic disc called diaphragm for listening to the hight frequency sounds and a cup shaped disc called bell for listening to low frequency sounds. When the diaphragm is placed on patients body, the diaphragm vibrates creating acoustic pressure waves.
