VINTAGE CLEVER EARLY 70's TEXACO AD - AIR POLLUTION REDUCTION (WALKERS ON EXPRESSWAY)

This is a clever public relations ad. The problem with air pollution could be solved by everybody walking on the expressway, identically to the way the 65mph vehicles move on the road. Two single file lines follow behind a "bus" driver/walker. Vehicles/walkers merge into traffic, and my favorite is the guy walking faster than the posted 7mph speed limit. A short time after we see the "speed demon" a highway patrol walker pulls him over. The ad tells us we can replace our vehicles, or we can have Texaco scientists reduce pollution by using scientific research & technology. It is a clever ad, even if it is 100% BULL POOPY.
