Global Art Forum: 'I Am Not A Robot' | Singapore 21 - 23 September 2018, Friday - Sunday Expression Gallery, Level 4 Global Art Forum: ‘I Am Not a Robot’ is a series of events that explores the power, paranoia and potentials of automation. Previous iterations took place in Dubai in February, and at Art Dubai in March of this year. The Singapore edition is a partnership between Art Dubai and ArtScience Museum, comprising a performance (20 Sep), a three-day conference (21–23 Sep), and a screening programme (13 Sep onwards) that will investigate the opportunities, complexities and trepidations of artificial intelligence, machine learning, networked systems and robotics. This three-day conference discusses different approaches - globally and in Singapore - to AI, the future of work in an age of automation, cultural and artistic approaches to AI, big data and robotics, and depictions of robots and synthetic beings in cinema.
