YOO what is up everyone! in this Rolling/Sparring Video Breakdown I talk about my rolling match with my Black Belt professor Steve. This is Rolling/Sparring Video breakdown featuring a high level Black Belt Leg Locker . This is a Purple Belt v Black Belt - Guard Passing a Leg Locker [Rolling/Sparring] Video Breakdown Steve is a super technical Black Belt that recently got his black belt with the Logic Team not to long ago and is now one of the professors at the gym. I've rolled with him many times before and I wanted to get him for the channel to show off his step ups for his leg locks. I've been a Purple Belt since 2019 and also moved out to California to train. I will be brining Rolling/Sparring Video Breakdowns to the channel on a regular basis so stay tuned for more! I'm always looking to improve and what better way to do that than to post my rolls on the internet for people to watch and dissect. What could go wrong? lol My Black Belt professor Steve really favors the single leg X, 4/11 position and uses it to set up nasty leg locks like the Texas Clover Leaf, ankle locks, and knee bars. In this roll I am able to navigate passing his guard and also keep my legs free from the leg lock threat by leg pummeling and keep weight in my hands. I also really enjoy narrated jiu-jitsu videos where you can follow my train of thought during the rolling/sparring. I truly enjoy rolling with someone who specializes in Leg Locking because Brown Belt is up next where all the leg locks that are legal in the Gi become available.
