Telescopes in the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration for future Observations

This video shows the global net of telescopes in the EHT collaboration for future observations. With a process called Very Long Baseline Interferometry they can be combined into a huge, single telescope the size of the earth. This enables scientists to observe the black hole in the center of for example our galaxy, which is comparable to photographing an apple on the surface of the moon.
