Битва при Пуатье — крупное сражение, состоявшееся 19 сентября 1356 года между английской армией Эдуарда Чёрного Принца французской армией короля Иоанна II Доброго. Эдуард во время рейда из Аквитании на север наткнулся на превосходящие силы противника и начал отступление, но у города Пуатье был вынужден принять бой. Он одержал полную победу.
