Mexico: Government turns to cloud-seeding to fight drought

The area in and around Mexico CIty is now in its fourth year of drought. The Cutzamala reservoir system, which helps supply the capital with its water is currently less than half full. The situation is serious enough that the government is trying to artificially provoke rain. Scientists question the government’s investment, given uncertainties about the technology.
