Top-1 solution of SoccerNet Camera Calibration Challenge 2023, CVPR 2023

This is a short video presentation of Sportlight team solution of SoccerNet Camera Calibration Challenge 2023, which demonstrated the best result on the leaderboard. The challenge involved the task of automatically producing camera calibration parameters using a single frame from a football broadcast. The core or the solution is a neural network for accurate keypoints detection. However, the complete approach consists of a combination of computer vision algorithms, mathematics and the neural networks. The solution leveraged both lines and curves on the pitch (and the crossbars!) to achieve precise calibration.
