New Release Date, Classes, Races and more! Baldur's Gate 3's big update

We have some exciting news about the upcoming release of Baldur's Gate 3. Larian Studios has just dropped a gigantic update, and we're here to break it all down for you. First off, we have some fantastic news for PC players. Baldur's Gate 3 will be launching almost a full month earlier than previously announced, on August 3rd! This means you won't have to worry about the overlap between Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield. However, given the sheer amount of content revealed in this update, that may not be enough time to fully explore everything this game has to offer. On the not-so-great front, if you were planning on playing BG3 on the PS5, you'll have to wait a little longer. The game will be launching on September 6th for the PlayStation 5. The delay is due to the team's aim to provide a 60fps experience on the PS5, rather than downgrading to 30fps. But hey, at least PS5 players will have something to enjoy when Starfield launches! While BG3 isn't a console exclusive, it's not quite ready for the Xbox yet. Larian Studios is taking the "Ready when it's ready" approach for the Xbox release to ensure the game meets their high-quality standards. But that's not all! In this update, we also have some mind-blowing stats and exciting reveals about BG3. The level cap has been increased from 10 to 12, unlocking powerful spells like Planar Allies, Chain Lightning, and Otto's Irresistible Dance. And guess what? Dragonborn is finally confirmed as one of the races in the game! With a total of 11 races and 31 subraces, including the Dragonborn and Half-Orcs, customization options are going to be off the charts. We'll be getting our first look at the Dragonborn in action during the final Panel from Hell, a live showcase by Larian Studios, happening on July 7th. If you're unfamiliar with these panels, they are always a good time filled with exciting announcements and reveals. The monk class is making its debut in BG3, adding a perfect balance between Fighter and Rogue. Monks possess the ability to traverse the map effortlessly and manipulate enemies using forceful Ki-powered punches. They look absolutely cool, and we can't wait to see them in action! And for those who prefer other classes, don't worry. There have been significant updates to the other classes as well. BG3 will launch with a total of 12 classes, each featuring at least one new subclass from the current offering. This brings the number of subclasses to a massive 46, providing a plethora of options for players. Origin characters play a crucial role in BG3, and Larian Studios has crafted them with special care. We've already met Astarion, Gale, Shadowheart, Lae'zel, and Wyll, and in this update, we are introduced to Karlach, the 6th origin character. But there's even more excitement as Larian teases the announcement of a 7th origin character during the final Panel from Hell on July 7th. These origin characters are joined by four other companion characters: Halsin, Jaheira, Minsc, and Minthara. The best part?
