Quarantunes Challenge - The Ballad of Harry and Christine

Wouldn’t you know it, the day we get to the waltz prompt of the #quarantunechallenge (which is #day14 for those of you keeping track) I can hardly come up with anything. I mean, this is my moment, this is my jam, this is my 3/2 count bases loaded and I just start swinging at everything that comes anywhere near the plate. Dammit. I must be getting old. Clutch time used to be my time. But maybe don’t count me out yet because I did it. I wrote the waltz and I don’t hate it. I had to dig into some bags of tricks to get there but I got there. I’m calling this one The Ballad of Harry and Christine and there will be a prize tbd for anyone who can identify that reference. I wrote this one in A because when the chips are down, that’s where you’ll find me. Side note: Baseball references are super fun except when it’s the day after what would have been opening day and you’ve been choking back nostalgic tears for 48 hours.
