Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi visits Google's Mountain View, CA headquarters to discuss her thoughts on innovation and the economy. This event took place on October 27, 2008, as part of the Policy Talks@Google series. Speaker Pelosi has represented California's 8th District, the vast majority of the city of San Francisco, since 1987. Pelosi was elected Speaker of the House of Representatives in January 2007, after 5 years as Minority Leader, when the Democrats assumed control of Congress.
