Swagbucks tv "server not reachable". Use regular swagbucks app instead

Recently swagbucks tv stopped working (maybe around 10/12/2015). I have been getting the error message, "Server not reachable. Please check your internet connection." I've tried turning on and off my wifi, restarting my router, and even restarting my phone with no luck at all. I've made sure to update my sbtv app to the latest version. A workaround may be to install the regular swagbucks app. The regular app allows you to watch videos too for rewards points. Note daily cap has changed from 36 to 10 swagbucks. My phone is running ICS 4.0.4 Android. It's an old pantech burst.
