Tuna Pâté Crostini Inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean, this effortlessly elegant starter delivers full-volume flavor in tiny two-bite packages. These petit toasts feature a creamy paté, comprised of oil-packed tuna, goat cheese, capers, scallions, and celery leaves. The paté comes together in less than 15 minutes especially if you have the ZWILLING ENFINIGY Power Blender in your corner. The crostini are finished with juicy tangelo segments, black olives, pomegranate arils, and fresh dill. Tart, salty, sweet, and loaded with umami, these crostini have it all. If you aren’t a fan of tuna, try subbing it for tinned crab or salmon. Poached shrimp would also work well here as well. Serves 4-6 Prep Time: 15 minutes 1 whole wheat baguette, sliced 2 tbsp olive oil Salt for sprinkling 120g (4oz) oil-packed tuna, drained 140g (5oz) goat cheese 2 scallions, coarsely chopped ¼ cup celery leaves, tightly packed 1 tbsp capers, drained 1 lemon, zested 2 tangelos, segmented ½ cup black olives, halved ⅓ cup pomegranate arils Fresh sprigs of dill, for serving Preheat the oven to 400°F. Arrange the baguette slices on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle the olive oil over the baguette slices and sprinkle with salt. Transfer the baguette slices to the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until golden. Set aside to cool. Place the tuna, goat cheese, scallions, celery leaves, capers, and lemon zest in a blender. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender occasionally. Transfer the paté to a bowl and chill until ready to serve. Spread the paté on the crostini and top with the tangelo segments, olives, pomegranate arils, and dill.
