Clatter of wheels, barely audible crackle of firewood and the sound of a clock when the train stops at the station and absolute silence reigns in the compartment. Everything seems to freeze. There is something soothing and even reassuring about this. At such moments you lose sense of time. It was May 3 of 2019 on the calendar. I was looking out the window. It was snowing heavily, and I thought that this is the most incredible May in my life so far.
