How To Fix Starfield Bug: "In Their Footsteps" Mission Hunter Starts Shooting & Can't Start Dialogu

In the Starfield Mission Quest "In Their Footsteps" you have to dock with the Scorpius Starborn ship and talk to the Hunter & the Emissary. Unfortunately there's a bug at the moment whereby as soon as you enter the Scorpius Ship, the Hunter starts firing at you, the Emissary runs away, and what should be a nice dialogue encounter instead turns into a gunfight. The answer as to how to fix the bug, or glitch, is simply to return to your ship, go to bed and sleep for at least 72 hours or three days. I slept for 4 days or 96 hours just in case. Once you've done this, the Hunters NPC aggression state will have been reset and you'll be able to work your way thru the dialogue as you'd expect. This problem isn't solved by dropping all your weapons, taking all the weapons off your companion follower, leaving your companion somewhere else or by stopping them following you completely.
