Faculty Favorites 2012-2013 - Jennifer Brueckner-Collins

Jennifer Brueckner-Collins Each year, the Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning invites UofL students to nominate faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants who have made a significant difference in their learning and intellectual growth. A total of 203 faculty members were nominated for the 2012-2013 academic year, and Jennifer Brueckner-Collins, a professor in the Department of Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology, has been named a "Top Four" Faculty Favorite nominee. Her student nominators describe her as a gifted educator, and one student noted: "She can explain some of the most complicated anatomical concepts (i.e. the autonomic nervous system) in a compartmentalized and logical manner that allows students to grasp the material and understand it in a way that contributes to their academic success."
