Giant Keyhole Limpet (Megathura crenulata)

Giant Keyhole Limpet (Megathura crenulata). I find these guys every once in awhile over here in the Southern California Coast. They are quite interesting. Their skin actually wraps around their shell, so in essence, there is no real point in having a shell because something can damage the skin anyways. I did a little reading on them and it seems that these guys are being used in Cancer Research. How cool is that? Filmed with Canon SX150
