Metal Detecting 1940's Brass at WW2 RAAF training ground

In this 4k video I strap a gopro chest rig to my apprentice and we explore a WW2 (and post WW2) moving target gunnery range. At this site RAAF gunners were trained in the use of aircraft gun turrets. The area is still listed as a slight UXO (unexploded ordinance) area, and contains a large volume of .303 Brittish spent casings and projectiles. These were used in the Mark II Browning machine guns. Many carry headstamps of MW, MJ and MH. and date from 1941, 1943, 1944, and 1945. Still standing on the site are some of the remaning operations bunker and sections of railroad track, and the carriage loading bays. Also seen in this video is a 6x6 Land Rover Perentie Ambulance - which was previously in service with the Australian military.
