IMEC - Si and SiN integrated photonics for emerging applications PHOTONICS+ 2021

Moving from the traditional application of integrated photonics in the optical transceiver market, we observe emerging novel applications that will leverage PIC distinct features such as compactness, low loss, low cost, and scalability. In this context, imec has developed integrated platforms for Si/SiN photonics on 200mm and 300mm CMOS lines with passive and active building blocks. You can learn more in this short presentation.
