Riga Grind - Game 4

This is the fourth battle in this series of recordings of my grind in Riga to gain the XP required for Petropavlovsk. Well, it is the fourth recording. I believe I forgot to record a battle that preceded this one 😳 You can help me to produce these videos if you like or share a video and also by subscribing to the channel, which will you to be notified as I post new videos. That would be immensely appreciated! Please feel free to leave any comments, both on the games that I share or even if you would like to request a grind of a particular ship. A large amount of credit is due to the wargaming art department for producing almost all of the video content used in the intros to my World of Warships videos. Summary Where do I start with this one? There is not so much to learn from what I did well in this game as much as what to avoid doing. Let’s list them: Poor aiming Poor decisions Poor use of the mini-map Tunnel vision For the team as a whole: Lack of focus on map control as a priority Imbalance in team deployment The map type is not as important here as much as the battle typer- epicentre! You do not have to gain high damage numbers to do well for the team. In this game, I did neither. Can you identify why though so that you can take away the lessons from that analysis to improve your own game? The failure to control caps, especially in epicentre games, forces the other team to take hasty actions that can be to the advantage of your own team. Patience can be good though, hesitancy isn’t. The decision between whether to push or to kite, as well as the timing of that decision, make a real difference to the consistency of your success. Battle on shipmates and remember to keep learning!
