PAINT TECHNOLOGY: AN OVER VIEW (PART-2) ; TESTING AND EVALUATION OF PAINTS

This video explains about the general testing and evaluation (quality control) of paints. The paints are tested at two stages; during manufacturing of paints and before packing of paints. To maintain the stability in products there should not be batch to batch variation for which testing is done. There are some general test performed on regular architectural (house and building) paints and there are some testings used for specific application of paints for example paints used in marine atmosphere, industrial atmosphere, automobile paints, paints for home appliances, fire retardant paints etc.
