Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House Live New Year's Eve Fireworks Display 2020 - 2021

Welcome to tonight's fireworks livestream at midnight AEDT (Sydney/Melbourne/Hobart) time - UTC/GMT + 11 hours.

Ready to see off 2020 and welcome in 2021?! What better way than in front of your computer, it's oh so 2020! Obviously for those in Australia, the ABC will provide a more dynamic view of Sydney's famous New Year's Eve Fireworks display, but for those overseas locked out by copyright broadcast restrictions, or for those who like to feel like they've picked their vantage point and are staying still, this is the show for you!

This stream uses a full-frame Nikon out via HDMI through a Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Mini Recorder, for those interested. There is a small delay between real streaming time with YouTube Live - perhaps up to 40 seconds.

It turns out that the Nikon is wonderful in daylight, but not as impressive in low light. Mostly just the way it handles the night-sky, the fireworks should still be good. On a mobile or small laptop, this stream should look good, on a TV, not as much. A new 4K lowlight camera is in the mail, subscribe for the continuous 4K stream that will be here early 2021!
