Hello Skaters! Today I am going to teach you the basics of how to do a One Foot Spin! Learning to spin on one foot is a pretty important skill, and absolutely necessary if you are going to learn fancier spins in the future. Before working on this spin, make sure you know how to do a strong two foot spin, I have tutorials linked below for the most basic ‘Helecopter Spin’ as well as a proper two foot spin. Coach Julia has been skating (first on roller and then on ice) for over 30 years. She was a competitive skater until she turned 21 when she got her first contract as a professional show skater.
