The Missing Angle #scary #horror #thriller #alien #paranormal
"If your home security app shows a camera angle you never installed, do not click on the icon. If you open it, be ready to see what is hiding behind your drywall."
My phone buzzed violently against the nightstand at 3:33 AM. It was an automated push notification from my smart-home network: System update complete. New hardware synchronized. I rubbed my eyes, thoroughly confused. I only owned three cameras—one for the front porch, one for the living room, and one overlooking the garage.
But when I opened the app, the grid display showed a fourth window simply labeled: Camera 0.
Curiosity overcame my exhaustion. I tapped the screen, expanding the feed to full screen. The night-vision camera view was tight, dark, and claustrophobic, showing a series of narrow, unfinished wooden beams and old insulation foam.
"Is this a neighbor's feed?" I muttered to myself.
Suddenly, a massive, pale hand with jagged obsidian claws entered the frame. The fingers reached out and scraped against a gray sheet of drywall. Skrrrrt. The sound was dull, muffled, and heavy.
In the real world, an identical, muffled scraping sound echoed from the wall right behind my headboard.
My blood ran completely cold. The camera wasn't a neighbor's. It was inside my own house, mounted deep within the hollow space inside my bedroom walls.
I stared at the screen, too terrified to move a single muscle. On the phone, a horrific, featureless face with solid black eyes pressed up against the lens. It opened its massive, unhinged jaw, revealing rows of needle-thin teeth, and began to violently bite through the wooden support beams.
In the real world, the drywall behind my bed violently fractured inward. Before I could spring out of bed, the entity erupted through the plaster, its freezing, slimy hands clamping around my ankles and dragging me backward into the pitch-black space inside the wall.
