This video is a lesson from my course 'Strong Scripts'. I work on the last 3 scenes of a 5 minute long animated lesson. The screen recording shows how I create visuals based on a voice-over - through trial and error.

It's clear from watching me work that creating meaningful animations that visualise what is said in an intuitive and supportive way is a game of give and take.

Very rarely do I storyboard my scenes before I begin. Listening to the narration track sparks ideas in the moment that I try to execute using the tools available in Vyond.

This format stands in sharp contrast to how I create my courses; they are much more planned and produced, whereas this format is a first-take. One is not better than the other, and this off-the-cuff format can hopefully reveal small tips and tricks that are lost in the polished lessons.
