When I released my book, there was excitement.

Sales were strong.
Videos were moving.
People were talking.

Now things have slowed down a bit.

That’s normal.

But something else hasn’t slowed down at all.

The private messages.

Teachers.
Parents.
Administrators.

People who know exactly what I’m talking about when I say our schools have become systems of measurement instead of systems of development.

The sales will go up and down.

The message doesn’t change.

Because every day kids are still being ranked, sorted, labeled, and evaluated in ways that shape how they see themselves.

That’s why I wrote It All Falls on the Kid.
