Two sick Westwood T1200 garden tractors + interesting faults, Part 1 (lawn mower, ride on mower)

I needed some spare parts for my Westwood D1200 lawnmower and a friend needed an engine. Most obvious place to go is ebay, so i was bidding on 2 machines rather close to me. Mine is a diesel, so the petrol engine was useless to me but the other parts are the same.
Got the first one rather cheap and forgot about the other bid. A few days later i got an email that i won the second ones as well, this one had a sick engine.
So change of plans, we'll keep the good bits, my friend gets the working Briggs engine and we'll see if we can fix the second one and flogg it.
It was a bit of work, but we got it back to life, fixed the engine, welded the cutting deck, replaced some rollers and tided up the messy electrics.
This part shows arrival and some fault finding, part 2 will show some more fixes and the final result.
This was filmed some time ago, still at the old premises.
