Hand Gesture Controlled Bluetooth Audio Link (Handi)

In this video I explain the functions of my hand gesture controlled blue tooth audio link.

A "do-it-yourself" solution to keeping your hands off your phone while streaming music in your car! Your vehicle must have an auxiliary input and your phone must be bluetooth compatible. Mount this device on your dashboard and it allows the user to perform "swipe" gestures to change tracks, control the volume and accept/reject incoming calls while keeping your eyes on the road. You never have to reach for your phone and be distracted again.

The built in microphone also enables the device to send audio to your phone while in a phone conversation. You will be able to hear your conversation over the speakers in your vehicle just as a normal bluetooth phone link would work.

Built in battery and charging circuit allows the battery to be charged through any 5V USB port providing hours of use. Integrated LEDs turn on during low light conditions to make your Handi visible at night and provide a fun ambiance.

Most of the parts were purchased from Sparkfun such as the RN-52 bluetooth audio link, the APDS-9960 gesture sensor, the Power-Cell, and the MicroView.
