Fix Ugly Scene Transitions in Godot

PART 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmqAAWw1EyA

In my previous video, we built a threaded SceneManager system in Godot Engine for loading scenes in the background with a loading screen.
Now it’s time to make those transitions actually look GOOD.
In this video, we build a reusable transition effects system using:
• fade in / fade out animations
• autoload singletons
• callbacks
• transition signals
• CanvasLayers and ColorRects
The result is a much smoother and more professional-feeling flow between scenes—and a solid foundation for cinematic effects and future polish.
We’ll cover:
• Building reusable fade transitions
• Connecting animation signals cleanly
• Using callbacks with autoload systems
• Integrating transitions into a SceneManager
• Structuring scalable scene-loading architecture
If your current scene transitions are just awkward cuts, this should help your game feel a whole lot cleaner.
