The Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn route from Andermatt to Göschenen travels down the Schöllenen Gorge. Due to the steepness of the route, the majority is rack rail equipped. The majority of the route is also covered with snowsheds, some shared with the adjoining road. This includes the passing loop.
Most of the video was filmed on Monday 30December 2013, from MGB service R636, 1248hrs ex Andermatt arriving Göschenen, 15 minutes later at 1303.
The last two scenes were from service R550, 1628hrs ex Andermatt on 31Dec13
