In this series of video lectures, you will learn everything you need to know about CELPIP writing task 1, otherwise known as the Email task.

The course consists of a series of lessons, which should be viewed in sequence. In this sixth lesson, we go over the structure of a function paragraph. We'll also be looking at how you can write an effective topic sentence for your function paragraph.

In the upcoming lessons, we will look at the leave taking and signature. We will then review some useful language expressions for each type of function (e.g., requests, complaints, etc.). Finally, we will end the course with some sample responses.
