In this video, I dissect the .NET Aspire Roadmap for 2025–26 and share my thoughts on the features that could redefine cloud‑native .NET development. The Aspire team is positioning Aspire as a code‑first, polyglot toolchain for building, running, and deploying distributed systems. This roadmap focuses on:

- Faster local dev loops: expect local DNS support, reliable HTTPS, DevTunnels, and the ability to run only the services you need.

- Flexible workflows & multi‑repo support: run subsets of services, debug projects inside containers, and orchestrate apps spread across multiple repositories. For an early solution, check out the community‑built PolyRepo library (link below).

- Testing made visual: view the dashboard while tests run, replay dashboard state from CI, run partial app hosts for faster integration tests, and mock external dependencies.

- Dashboard upgrades: persistent dashboard state, cross‑linking between traces/logs/metrics, better search/filtering, path‑based reverse proxy support, and custom layouts.
