The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia (Part 1/3- Full video)

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge graced the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce Luncheon with Kuala Lumpur's top 1100 key Malaysian business community.

The prestigious Seri Perdana and Istana Negara, Petronas Twin Towers and the rainforests of Danum Valley in Sabah are some of the country's iconic venues which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had visited from Sept 13 to 16.

Their visit to Malaysia, Singapore, Solomon Islands and Tuvalu is part of the couple's tour to celebrate 60 years of Queen Elizabeth's reign.

On the first day of their arrival, the couple attended a special luncheon organised by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak at Seri Perdana and an official dinner by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah at Istana Negara.

Featherstone said William and Kate would visit Hospis Malaysia in Cheras where the Duchess, a patron of East Angli's Children's Hospices, would give a talk to patients and staff.

"This is the Duchess' second public speech and her first outside of the United Kingdom," he said.

Members of the public got a chance to greet the royal couple during a cultural event at the KLCC park where the royal couple experienced the richness and diversity of Malaysian culture.

The couple's other engagements in Malaysia include a business lunch organised by the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce, where the Duke delivered a speech underscoring the importance of UK-Malaysia ties and prosperity.

"The lunch is attended by 1,200 guests comprising key members of the business fraternity, ministers and senior government representatives. All 1,200 tickets have been sold and all proceeds will be donated to Hospis Malaysia," Featherstone said.

British High Commission to Malaysia organised a Diamond Jubilee Tea Party with a star-studded guest list including Datuk Michelle Yeoh, Datuk Jimmy Choo and Pandalela Rinong.

In Sabah, the royal couple goes deep into the rainforest of Danum Valley and learn about the latest conservation efforts.
