There are many wrong practices by churches within Christianity. Many lies. But sometimes people try to throw away anything remotely associated with a church when the reality is, there are some biblically-practiced things that Abba does want us to do. Assembly simply means church. We dislike using the word "church" because of all the negative connotations associated with that word, and because when the average person hears or thinks of a church, they are thinking about the traditional church in America that derives from the Constantine system of worshipping on Sunday and many other falsehoods & wickedness practiced. But we are still mandated to gather, to assemble.

In fact, many say "The End is near," and what does it say in Hebrews 10:25? Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the Day approaching." The "DAY" being referenced here is the End or the final, Last Day, the Day Yahusah returns. And we admonished to continue assembling (which is why an assembly is called an assembly, we are assembling). Back in the days or time of the Brit Ha'dasha, people assembled in homes. Their assembly was home-based, no large buildings. In the Book of Revelations, there are multiple assemblies called out. For example, "The Assembly of Philadelphia." In our case, we are not home-based, we are Zoom-based.

Do not be misled that "all assemblies are of the devil." That's foolish. Even Yahusah went into synagogues. It's where his parents found him teaching as a young man when they couldn't find Him. And again, we see assemblies listed in Revelations and various other places in the Word.

The point is not to throw the baby out with the bath water. So many believers in this walk attempt to live out their walk with "Them and Abba only." This is a direct contradiction to so many Scriptures. We are a Body. The Body of Yahusha. The spiritual gifts operate as we walk together. And part of that Body includes people in leadership. We are not talking about people just wanting or seeking titles, or people who simply have a thirst to share "their truth." We are talking about servants of Yah who Yah saw fit to put at the helm to oversee things. The Scripture makes it very clear. Too many people say, "The Ruach will teach me all things," taking it out of context to mean they don't need anyone else in their life. Or they don't believe in having authority in their lives. But Yah has certainly instituted this as we see all throughout Scripture.

So just an admonishment to have the right thinking, a biblical thinking, when it comes to leadership, assemblies and the like. Our natural, carnal flesh doesn't want to submit or embrace Abba's most excellent way, but it's for our safety & benefit, even if we don't fully understand. We are to lean to Yah's understanding and trust Him, not our own understanding. For our very hearts are deceitfully wicked. "Who can know it," David wrote. There is safety in the multitude of counsel. Don't be a lone island. Find a local Bod of Yahusha (assembly) where you can be part of that spiritual family where you can get solid teaching & grow spiritually. As assembly usually has people who provide Torah-based counseling too. Make no mistake about it. Yah can speak to our hearts directly, and He certainly moves through His people also. Let's fully embrace Yah's Order and His Design for leadership
