'Chairman Dan' won't cancel the Aus Open tournament as it's 'too important' to him
While Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays, school holidays and even school itself in Victoria can be cancelled, seemingly the Australian Open tennis tournament is just "too important to Chairman Dan" to cancel, says Sky News host Paul Murray.
Mr Murray said "how much evidence do we need" to learn that the "power-mad premiers" only care about one end of town.
"And that's the big end of town".
Mr Murray said premiers care when it is a "big event like this" or a "big thing like a movie being filmed".
"But they couldn't care less when it was local businesses that were never to come back".
