How To Overhaul Vintage Raleigh/Phillips/Rudge Bike Pedals - Remove/Clean/Install New Bearings

I show how to repair a platform pedal on a vintage Raleigh bike. This is a 1970 Raleigh bicycle (made in England). I believe it's a Tourist (it has rod brakes). So the pedals are about 45 years old and probably have never had anything done to them. The grease was so old, the bearings seemed to be glued in. In this video, I take a pedal apart, clean it, install new ball bearings, and put it back together. Interestingly, my 15mm pedal wrench didn't fit these. I had to use a 5/8 inch open-end wrench that I had to grind it thinner to fit.
The bearings in this pedal were 5/32". But you need to measure yours as they may be different!
