'Tensions Rise In The West Bank As Minors Are Shot And Killed'

Confrontation between Israeli military forces and protesters in the West Bank have escalated, following the multi-front Israeli attack by Hamas over the weekend. Israeli forces have blocked all checkpoints, preventing Palestinian residents from exiting the occupied West Bank.

Tensions have been exacerbated following the shooting of at least four teenage boys at a checkpoint in Qalandia, the primary Israel Defense Forces checkpoint between the northern West Bank and Jerusalem.

One victim, 16-year-old boy Adam Joulani, was shot in the head by an Israeli soldier. On Monday, hundreds of mourners gathered and were seen waving Palestinian flags during the funeral in his hometown of Al-Ram.
